Crowley's Ridge College/Freed-Hardeman University's
School of Nursing Joint Program

Any CRC student who meets qualifications will be granted admittance in to FHU’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.

 

Program Admittance Prerequisites

  1. Gain admittance to Crowley’s Ridge College for prerequisite courses
  2. Attain an ACT composite score of at least 21
  3. Attain an ACT Science score of at least 20

Requirements to Meet While at CRC

  • Attain a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 in all coursework taken at CRC, with a math/science grade point average of at least 3.25
  • Complete all courses specific to CRC listed below
  • Adhere to the CRC Code of Conduct

Completion of These Requirements

  1. Guarantees a student admission to the Nursing program if all course and GPA requirements for a seat in the program are achieved.  
  2. Qualifies the student for the same scholarships available to students currently enrolled in Freed Hardeman University.  The conditions and amounts awarded will vary year to year and are subject to change.
  3. Waives the requirement for taking the Test for Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) for students who apply and complete the acceptance process through this program.
