CRC DAY Continues for 33rd Year on June 12

One of the longest-standing traditions at Crowley’s Ridge College will continue for a 33rd year, as CRC DAY is scheduled for June 12, 2022.

Since 1989, Churches of Christ and individuals across the nation have set aside a day to make a special contribution to CRC. The second Sunday in June is generally encouraged as CRC DAY, but any convenient Sunday for your congregation to host a special giving opportunity for CRC DAY is great.

The generous contributions received during CRC DAY are used to bless the students of CRC. Specifically, the contributions aid students with scholarships tied to our Bible program, those who receive Christian Service, and/or Heritage scholarships, and Christian academy graduates. In the 2021-22 school year, CRC awarded $167,386 in scholarships connected to these areas. CRC DAY is paramount in helping CRC cover these scholarships that are essential for many of our Church of Christ students.

Over the years, churches have chosen to get involved in CRC DAY in a variety of ways, including:

    • Taking up a special contribution for CRC DAY.
    • Writing a check from the church treasury for CRC DAY.
    • Placing a collection box for CRC DAY contributions from the congregation.
