Crowley's Ridge College/Harding University's
School of Pharmacy Joint Program

Qualified Crowley’s Ridge College students have the opportunity to earn one of five coveted, guaranteed spots in Harding University’s School of Pharmacy.  

Program Admittance Prerequisites

  1. Gain admittance to Crowley’s Ridge College for prerequisite courses.
  2. Attain an ACT composite score of at least 24, SAT total of 1180, or CLT total of 77.
  3. Complete a successful interview with the College of Pharmacy.

 

Requirements to Meet While at CRC

  • Attain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 in all coursework and a math/science grade point average of at least 3.00.
  • Begin the PharmD program no later than three years after beginning pre-pharmacy coursework.
  • Adhere to the CRC Code of Conduct.
  • Meet with a CRC faculty mentor a minimum of one time each semester.
  • Apply through PharmCAS by February 1, before beginning the PharmD program at Harding University in June.

Completion of These Requirements

  1. Guarantees a student admission to the Pharm.D. program if all pre-pharmacy requirement for a guaranteed seat are achieved.  Students who do not complete all requirements remain eligible to apply for admission to the Pharm.D. program at Harding University without guaranteed admission.
  2. Qualifies the student for the same scholarships available to students participating in Harding University’s current Guaranteed Seat program.  The conditions and amounts awarded will vary year to year and are subject to change.
  3. Waives the requirement for taking the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) for students who apply and complete the acceptance process through this program.
