Mrs. Summitt has one of the most infectious personalities on CRC’s campus, and everyone loves to be around her.  She works tirelessly each and every day to better the lives of students by mentoring, guiding, and instilling Christian values in each and every one of them.

Marta began her professional career as an accountant at NEA Oil Company in 1997 after earning her Bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University.  She also has accounting and bookkeeping experience with American Railcar Industries and United Way of Northeast Arkansas.  She is married to her high school sweetheart from Crowley’s Ridge Academy, Daniel Summitt, and together they have three beautiful children: Luke, Ava, and Ardyn.  After taking some time away from the business industry to raise her children, she began the next chapter of her career with Crowley’s Ridge College in 2013 instructing courses in Business Communication and Principles of Accounting while returning to school herself for her Master’s degree.  Summitt is passionate about Christian education and advises most of the business majors on campus.
