Treka began her career in higher education in July 2017 working in the Registrar’s Office at Crowley’s Ridge College. After being appointed as Registrar, she gained experience in academic advising, course sequencing and scheduling, census date reporting, transcript processing, and conducting degree audits for graduation candidates. She oversees the College’s annual Awards Day and Commencement, serves as the primary point of contact for Veterans Tuition Assistance, and assists the College’s Athletic Director in determining NAIA eligibility for all student athletes.

In January 2020, Treka was named Director of Assessment and Institutional Research in addition to her role as Registrar. Within this role, she has experience in developing academic and operational assessment plans and reports, conducting periodic program reviews, and maintaining and disseminating dashboard indicators. She chairs two separate strategic planning committees and oversees the alignment of assessment and objectives within the College’s strategic plan. She assists in CAEP accreditation efforts and has served as a member of CRC’s HLC Academy Team since 2018, promoting to Team Lead in August 2020. She has been the HLC data coordinator since April 2022, and in December 2022, she was named Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO).

In addition to her involvement on CRC’s strategic planning committees, she is also an active member of the College’s Academic Affairs, Academic Assessment, Operational Assessment, Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, Financial Assistance (Scholarship), Curriculum, and CRC DOTE Advisory committees.

Treka is a 2009 graduate of Crowley’s Ridge Academy and a 2013 graduate of Crowley’s Ridge College.  She is married to Ethan Clark and together they have three beautiful children: Owen, Rhett, and Sunnie Kate.
