Many come in the name of Christ, but not all are of Christ. Since the foundation of the
church, people have sought to distort and malign the Gospel of Truth to promote their own
desires. Some resist and maintain their faith in the truth of Christ. However, some are deceived and leave the church to follow a path of destruction and damnation. It is sad to say, but most of the destructive teachings, and the teachers that promote them, rise up from among the church. The church must be well equipped to stop the destructive false teachings before they destroy the church and her work.
