Dr. Lisa Ellington, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Chemistry

Dr. Ellington comes to Crowley’s Ridge from Paragould Light, Water & Cable as a former Environmental Services Manager ready to instruct students in General Chemistry and Physical Science courses.  She also has prior experience at PLWC as a lab supervisor and chemist.  

Dr. Ellington has served on many professional organizations including the Arkansas Wastewater Licensing Committee, Arkansas Environmental Education Association,  EPA Region VI Pretreatment Association, Arkansas Water Works and Water Environment Association, Arkansas Water Environment Association, Water Environment Federation, and the American Chemical Society.

She and her husband, Dennis, attend Union Central Church of Christ in Marmaduke.  They have three children (2 daughters and 1 son), five grandchildren (3 girls and 2 boys), and one great-grandson.
