Abstract

The early churches acquainted with the Apostle John were facing pressures from false teachers and ungodly leaders. Some of their teachings had the early Christians questioning their salvation and relationship with God. Not only does John write to correct some of those erroneous teachings, but also to provide some parameters of fellowship so that the early Christians could know where they stand in relationship with God. He also gives personal examples of who, and who does not, fall within those parameters.  Dr. Glen Knabe explores these parameters and the personal examples given by John so “That You May Know” where you stand in your own personal walk with God.
