And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

Abstract

The believer is encouraged to draw near to God in prayer with confidence. This confidence stems from knowing that God invites His children to ask anything according to His will and it will be heard and answered. This requires a believer to have faith to ask with expectation and anticipation. This also requires a believer to have the desire to seek, know, and live God’s will. Believers do not pray to change God’s will, but rather to change their own will by bringing it more fully under His.
