Non-Discrimination Policy

Crowley’s Ridge College does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, disability, age, religion, veteran status, or any category prohibited by law in its education programs, activities, admissions, or employment, and is required by Title IX and 34 CFR Part 106 not to discriminate in such a manner. The College upholds these principles while maintaining exemptions where regulations conflict with its religious beliefs. Any inquiries about the application of Title IX and 34 CFR Part 106 to the College may be referred to the College’s Title IX coordinator(s).

As a Christian institution of higher learning, Crowley’s Ridge College upholds biblical teachings and values. The college affirms that sexual intimacy is a gift from God to be expressed only within the covenant of marriage, defined as a union between one man and one woman, as taught in Scripture (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Hebrews 13:4). Additionally, we believe that homosexual relationships, homosexual marriage, homosexual sex, and homosexual displays of affection are contrary to God’s will (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

Because we believe God created both man and woman; any gender limitations in any educational program or activity, such as housing, restrooms, and athletics, will be determined exclusively by biological sex at birth and not by one’s self-perception.
